This year, our Festival Centre will settle down in the Chicago neighbourhood, more specifically at the KVS (Koninklijke Vlaamse Schouwburg). The Festival Centre is our base, a meeting place where everyone is welcome; audience, professionals, staff, artists and casual passers-by. You can eat and drink something here, listen to a talk, take part in an activity as part of our Free School and dance the evening or night away during our nightlife programme (except the opening and closing parties). You can also visit the bookshop set up by specialty bookstore rile*, featuring a selection of books related to the festival programme. Besides these activities, KVS is also the venue for artistic projects by Mamela Nyamza, Toshiki Okada, Marcus Lindeen & Marianne Ségol, Bouchra Khalili and Katerina Andreou. Temporary interventions by scenographers Laura Muyldermans and Sophia Holst are scattered around the outdoor and indoor spaces of the KVS BOL; an invitation to bridge the gap between all the activities and to meet each other.
