L’Amicale de production is tearing down the walls between spectators and listeners with one and the same event on stage! With the production On traversera le pont une fois rendus à la rivière there are spectators who come to see the show in the theatre and listeners who can hear it at home on the radio. The stage is thought of like a laboratory: how can the tools of theatre be used to go beyond differences in perspectives and create empathetic loops between individuals? With the stage turned into a projection space, the audience and listeners journey together along the twists and turns of mental representations. They are collectively taken on a treasure hunt by means of different channels of communication, but the show only works if everyone gets stuck in! On traversera le pont une fois rendus à la rivière goes back and forth between the group and the individual, between the wonder of real life and the tunnels of the imagination, to the point where you wonder just what the performance is in the process of creating. If you want a thing done well, do it yourself.

You can experience the radio broadcast performance at home.

L’Amicale de production is an art cooperative, a creative artistic platform and methodological lab for imagining and creating new and singular relationships between art and work. Year after year, the concept of making together has become a stimulus as much as a challenge. Reflecting on our work in a cooperative way is an alternative model that brings together different hopes and political ideals: getting out of competitive minds, rethinking producing patterns of making new work, mutualising skills and knowledge to develop living projects. Convinced that producing tools have an influence on the work itself, we like to place the mechanisms and processes even more at the heart of the project. We are joyfully diving into the cooperative adventure, bringing all professions/occupations together: artists, performers, technicians, producers, administrators and partners. We produce and tour performances but not just that: we are also opening up L’Amicale to new projects, because we believe that we can create independently while together. We are opening spaces for artistic dialogue, experimenting with working methods and creating economical solidarity using thoughtful DIY and collaborative prototyping. The cooperation is between us, in the artworks, with the audience, with our partners, here and there around the world. It is a tool and an aim to develop creative and educational material that talk about us, about our human condition and our capacity to interact, to think and to make.
