Under the musical direction of cellist Roel Dieltiens, Alain Platel’s new production provides an emotional and "natural" encounter between people – from dance, from the street, from life – and the other-worldly, absolute music of Johann Sebastian Bach. After Purcell's La Tristeza complice and the dodgem track of Bernadetje, Alain Platel offers yet another realm of experience to show us the feverish world of feelings that is alive in us all and that makes us delirious, troubled or ecstatic, with our feet on the ground and our heads in the clouds.
